What to PIN
Logos
In the questionnaire, I ask you to describe your brand in five words or less. Pinterest is a search engine, use these words to bring up relating imagery on Pinterest.
Keywords
Colors don’t need to be set in stone if you’re unsure (this is where I come in), just search for colors you are drawn to or you think might relate to your keywords.
Colors
Pin at least 5 logos you love. These will serve as inspiration for me when designing your logo. I look at typography style & layout so these are things to keep in mind when pinning.
Imagery
Pin at least 5 websites you love. Although you may not be going through the web design process with me, this still helps me to get an idea of what you are drawn to when it comes to layouts.
Website Layouts
Generally, Serif fonts tend to be more connected to timeless, classic brands whereas hand drawn fonts are better suited to brands looking to attract a female audience. Sans serif fonts are better suited to brands looking for a more modern look.
Typography
Look for images that you could visualize used on your website or social media. Product photography, lifestyle photography…anything you think would draw in your ideal client.
While the images should have some kind of connection or cohesive style, try not to worry too much about whether or not all of your pins are completely cohesive. This is where we will come in!

Comment on your pins
I recommend usually pinning 30-50 pins. Any less than this and it will be difficult for me to get a clear picture of what you are looking for. Try not to exceed around 55 pins.
How many pins?
Once you have pulled together images for your branding Pinterest board, step away from it for a little while and revisit it later. This way you can ensure that you still love all of the images you have pinned and if not, remove the ones you don’t like so much and add more.
Review your board
If you’d like to let me know what you specifically like about a pin - Use the description field to make comments on the colours, textures, fonts, anything that attracted you to that pin.
